Which one do you need?

If your employer or platform asked for a Basic DBS, you can usually apply yourself. If a council or regulated role needs Enhanced, they must request it — you cannot order your own Enhanced check.

Can I apply for my own Enhanced DBS?

No. Enhanced checks are requested for certain roles through an employer or registered body. If you are unsure what you need, start FREE for job applicants online.
